A brief biographyI started playing drums in 1995, when I was five years old, and since then I have studied drum kit with Simon Dring, Dave Wickins, Jason Bowld, Craig Blundell and Ralph Salmins, and percussion with Ian Chopping, Sam Girling and Donal O'Brien... I'm also a pianist, and I had lessons with Rory Marsden for over ten years... I passed Grade Eight Piano with Distinction in March 2008 and I have also studied jazz piano with Peter Hayes... Since leaving school, I have been working as a musician full time, both teaching and performing... I have played many different styles of music, with function bands, rock covers groups, various original projects, brass bands, jazz groups and many different orchestras... As a teacher, I have taught drumkit and piano privately and in local schools... Artists and conductors I have worked with include Nicholas Daniel, Alexander Walker, Axel Loughrey, Xoo, Witchers, Cardiem, Erdem Misirlioglu, Rob Milne, Dove and Boweevil, Paint It Red, Ugly Muscle, the Eddie Seales Band, The Quantum Project, Academy of St Thomas Orchestra, Assassins of Silence, Nine out of Ten Cats, David Curtis, Rough Diamond, Norfolk Symphony Orchestra, the Waveney Sinfonia, Norfolk Wherry Brass, Peter Cresswell, Cawston Band, Broadland Brass, Lowestoft Choral Society, the Norfolk Keyboard Orchestra, and others... I have been influenced by many different musicians and composers - visit the gallery of heroes to find out more...
