Bones From My Back<\/em> is a story. \u00a0It is a story of heartbreak, of self-doubt,\u00a0and of loose ends. \u00a0The songs were written\u00a0during the period from October 2013 to April 2014, and they\u00a0are presented on the record in chronological order.<\/p>\n

Making this record has been quite a journey for me. \u00a0It’s been a journey of discovery, and experimentation \u2013 both in a musical and a personal sense.\u00a0\u00a0It’s a very personal sound\u00a0\u2013 each track represents a different moment for me, and a different\u00a0way of feeling. \u00a0All the tracks have been recorded and produced in my studio, and with the exception of guitars, bass guitar, violin (on two tracks), and backing vocals (on one track), all the parts have been\u00a0played or sung by me.<\/p>\n

The idea of putting my music out in the public domain, under my name, is something I find exciting and terrifying in equal measure! \u00a0Writing these songs began as an\u00a0escape mechanism, and the project has evolved to a point where people will be able to buy the\u00a0record and listen to my music.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0have taken the decision to make the full lyrics to\u00a0all the songs available\u00a0online; the words I write\u00a0are central to the message of\u00a0each song, and of the album as a whole. \u00a0I hope that by having access to all the lyrics here, people will be able to gain some\u00a0understanding of the writing process and of the mindset of the project while listening, if they wish. \u00a0Learn more about each track on the album by clicking on the titles\u00a0below:<\/p>\n
