Piano & keyboard tuition
I have taught piano students to the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music graded piano exam syllabus. I can teach to a classical or a jazz piano style, according to whatever my students want to learn.
I can teach electronic keyboard as a solo instrument, to the Trinity Guildhall graded exam syllabus, or as a part of a band, including techniques such as sampling, synthesizers, programming, etc...
I am a member of the teaching staff for the Norfolk Keyboard Orchestra - an educational ensemble, run by the Norfolk County Music Service, that gives children in Norfolk who learn to play keyboard instruments the chance to come together and play as a group, learn ensemble-playing skills, have fun and experience music in a social way.
I have also taught piano and electronic keyboard in local secondary schools.
Interested? Why not get in touch, and discuss tuition with me...?
My teaching studio
My studio is equipped with a Kawai MP8ii digital stage piano, and full amplification. Electronic keyboard students will need to bring their own keyboards with them.
(If you would prefer to learn on your own piano, please contact me to discuss the possibility of lessons in your own home.)
