Drumkit & percussion tuition

I have run a successful private teaching practice, from my home near Norwich, in Norfolk, for three years now. I have taught drumkit students from beginner to advanced level, and I have an excellent record of success with entries for the Rockschool graded drumkit exams... All lessons are tailored to suit the needs of individual students.

I have also taught drumkit and percussion in local primary and secondary schools, doing both individual lessons, and group workshops, and I have tutored the percussion section in local Youth Orchestras.

After-school clubs

I also run workshops in local primary schools, after school, for up to fifteen children. These sessions are very hands-on, and the children learn about rhythms, and group percussion playing - they play lots of rhythm games, learn about different kinds of percussion, and get a chance to play the drums every week, in a relaxed and run environment.

My teaching studio

I have a good-sized teaching studio, equipped with two drumkits, and professional-quality PA system and sound technology gear, which is an ideal environment for musical education.
